Certificate of Achievement
has completed the following course:
Maths Subject Knowledge: Proportion, Ratio and Scaling
National STEM Learning Centre
This course enabled learners to develop their proportional reasoning skills and apply their thinking in a range of different contexts. Proportional reasoning is the ability to scale up and scale down by multiplying by a common ratio. This skill is important in topics such as enlarging shapes, fractions, percentages and ratios. Learners received subject knowledge, explored common misconceptions and practised weekly problem exercises. This course included an end-of-course test.
