Sierra Leone Urban Research Centre

The Sierra Leone Urban Research Centre (SLURC) offers short training courses and several opportunities to partner up in research and urban development projects. It also has a physical and online resource unit with an extensive collection of knowledge about urban Sierra Leone and other interesting materials.

SLURC is based at the Institute of Geography and Development Studies of Njala University. Njala University offers two relevant programmes:

  • MSc in Development Studies
  • MSc in Environment and Development

Bartlett Development Planning Unit

The Bartlett Development Planning Unit (DPU) of University College London conducts world-leading research and postgraduate teaching that helps to build the capacity of national governments, local authorities, NGOs, aid agencies and businesses working towards socially just and sustainable development in the global south.
