Review of the week

In the first week of this open short course, we introduced you to the main Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and how these can be used in the analysis of data.

Looking at the journey of milk from grass to glass, we’ve explored the different types of analysis required by the numerous contributors to this supply chain and the role of ML and AI in its process.

Next week, we’ll consider the different sources that could be used for gathering this data and examine how data is received from and feeds into the different stages of analysis.

Your task

Before you go on to the second week of this course, take some time to reflect on your learning experience so far.

  • What have you learned and how will this create value for you moving forward?

  • How have you found certain activities? Would you approach them differently next time?

Reflection and feedback are an important part of learning and will stay with you throughout your career. Getting into this habit now will stand you in good stead for the future.
