What support do universities offer?

Universities offer a range of support services for their students.

Ahmad spoke about the positive experiences he had in getting support, financial and other. He talked about scholarships for fees, hardship funds, and the other support he got from his university Student Services office. Universities offer lots of different kinds of support: health, financial, family support, help with your studies and much more.

Support is also often available for refugee students in terms of scholarships and bursaries and we’ll learn about these later in the course.

Task: Go to the website of a university you are interested in to find out what support they offer. Share anything you found interesting or important for you. It will be useful for others to see if the universities they are interested in offer the same services
