We're going to meet a patient who suffered from depression, had CBT, and is going to tell us about her experience of that and how she's got on and lived her life into the future.

Welcome to Week 2
Hello and welcome back to the second week of this online course: Understanding anxiety, depression and CBT. During this week, we will be focusing on depression.
We will start off with a quiz to see how much you actually know about depression, and will be presenting some facts and figures to set the scene. We will also be thinking about some of the common myths and stereotypes which exist around depression, and addressing them with more accurate information. We will be thinking about what depression actually is (and what it isn’t) and what it feels like to have depression. Finally, we will be thinking about depression in the context of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and how a CBT model can explain how and why depression persists.
