On this course, you will focus on a selection of their works that reflect important aspects of Argentine culture and history through their characters and settings.

Through these readings, you will discover the city of Córdoba and the countryside, the plains of the gauchos and the river banks, and Buenos Aires. You will compare the works of these famous authors and gain an appreciation of their individual styles.

Who developed the course?

Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) is a tuition-free public university funded by the Argentine government. Founded in 1613, it is the oldest university in Argentina and one of the most prestigious.
