Technology now exists that can monitor natural disasters and provide warning signals earlier and more accurately to help reduce the number of casualties, or help the emergency services quickly locate victims. Technology now exists that allows people to purchase items simply by taking a picture. These are all examples of artificial intelligence. Do you remember when the internet became widely used? Or have you read about this in history? Something similar happened around that time hence why we now have jobs, such as social media communication teams and web designers.

Skip to 1 minute and 24 seconds So it is important to stress that while 75 million current jobs are displaced around the world, 133 million new jobs may emerge. This means that almost 60 million jobs will be created. And AI is driving new opportunities today. But what does this artificial intelligence buzzword truly mean? What technologies are behind it? Why are some people so excited about it? And why do some people fear it? Do you find yourself asking one of these questions? Then, this course is for you.
