Welcome to Week 4 of language testing during awake brain surgery!

The goal of this week is that you are able to design and pilot a little test suitable for the intraoperative testing. To accomplish this, our main educator Prof. Roelien Bastiaanse will first introduce herself and her profession as well as the complexity we have to assume when talking about language areas in the brain.

We will learn from interviews with stroke patients why developing specific language tests is needed. And eventually, we will look at every step of the language test development, so that you know how to construct your own version.

Enjoy!
