We have now reached the end of our Week 3. With lots of clips from the surgery on our patient, you had the chance to get a glimpse of how an awake brain surgery looks like. The medical team explained their different roles in the OR and the challenges they are facing during the procedure.

You now have the background knowledge of the medical side of language testing during awake brain surgery. Which part did you find most interesting? And do you feel ready to move on to the next phase of the course?

In the next 2 weeks, we will take time to take a closer look at the discipline that was not represented this week: clinical linguistics and test development!
