As a summary of some of what you have learned on this course why don’t you read this article?

This course has hopefully provided you with a solid foundation of basic first aid skills and knowledge but it is by no means a substitute for official First Aid training. Our goal was to teach a little bit about the most common emergency situations with the hope that it would inspire you to further your understanding of First Aid. The best way to build on this course is to put what you’ve learnt to the test and get involved with a First Aid charity!

The three main First Aid charities in the UK are:

• The British Red Cross: UK Wide

• St Andrew’s Ambulance: Scotland

• St John’s Ambulance: England, Wales and The Islands

Hopefully undertaking this course will have inspired you to take your learning further – you never know when it will come in useful!
