Most of the traits we see and may be interested in are inherited in a complex way. To understand this, we suggest reading and watching the proposed material.
Nevertheless, the scientific level may become very complex as the analysis and refinement of GWAS studies are increasingly sophisticated. The Wikipedia entry for GWAS is certainly a good start.

There are videos explaining the genetics of complex traits, but most are very long and complex. The best option may be to stress what exactly GWASs are and how the results are plotted. A good explanation can be found in an open video intended as a tutorial to accompany Chapter 10 of the book ‘Genetics: Genes, Genomes, and Evolution’, by Meneely, Hoang, Okeke and Heston (Oxford University Press), which explains a specific study dealing with a complex disease called eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).
