Preparing for Week 4

Important aspects of management of outbreaks

In Week 4 we will introduce important aspects of management of outbreaks, firstly by touching again on the epidemiology of outbreaks, and then exploring what kinds of personal protective equipment and risk controls are required to work within a biological threat environment and the frameworks that first responders work with to operate in an outbreak.
