Papyrus Writing material made from the pith of the papyrus plant
Parchment Writing material made from the skin of an animal
Collagen Protein found in the tissue of animal bodies
Ultraviolet light Electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength from 10 nm to 400 nm
Transmitted light Light transmitted through the surface of an object
Raking light Light transmitted from the side of an object, almost parallel to the surface
Stereo microscope Optical microscope used for low magnification of a sample
X-ray fluorescence Secondary X-rays that can be used for analysing elements in art
Multispectral imaging A method of capturing image data within specific wavelengths across the electromagnetic spectrum
