We’re very happy to welcome you to this course on Blockchain, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed developing it!
So, what are you going to learn and who are you going to meet along this course?
During the following weeks, we are going to learn what blockchain really means, how it works, and why it is so important for the future of the energy sector.
Oriol Pujoldeval, Lead Educator, won’t be able to join the discussions himslef or respond to individual comments, but the course encourages a strong learning community. The learning is focussed around debate and discussion - supporting other learners, sharing your own experience and knowledge, and listening to new perspectives. We hope that you will enjoy interacting with and learning from each other in this way.
After finalizing this course, you will develop a global vision of Blockchain’s disruptive potential, and learn about the future challenges that this technology is likely to face, both technical and regulatory. You will learn why blockchain is disrupting all sectors and actors across the value chain, and will be given the tools to understand the long-term transformation that the energy sector is likely to undergo through blockchain’s implementation.
This course is structured in 4 different weeks:
Week 1: What is Blockchain?
Week 2: Blockchain applications
Week 3: Blockchain applied to energy: Power Ledger case
Week 4: Blockchain applied to mobility: Share & Charge case
Every step is supported by additional material, meant to reinforce your learning experience.
