PhD in Art History from the University of Barcelona. I am an associate professor in the Faculty of Humanities at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). I was the scientific coordinator of the international seminars: Biographical Narratives in Art History (2011), Identity, Power and Representation. Nationalisms in Art (2014) and One Hundred years of Cultural Transfer: Barcelona 1888-1992 (2016).

My field of study is the public and private collections in Catalonia during the last years of the 19th century and the beginnings of the 20th. I’m the author of the book Els museus d’art i arqueologia de Barcelona durant la Dictadura de Primo de Rivera 1923-1930 (The Museums of Art and Archeology of Barcelona during the Dictatorship of Primo de Rivera 1923-1930, 2011). My current research focuses on methodological issues related to the patterns of artistic reception, especially linked with Spain and Italy.
