Thank you for following us here. You have already finished half of the grammar course. Congratulations!

This week,you’ve learned some basic sentence structures in Chinese,and get to know how to use Adjectival Predicate Sentences to describe something or somebody,like “熊猫很可爱。” “玛丽很漂亮。”, and how to use sentences with “有yǒu” to show existence,in other words,to express “something is present in a specific location”。For example:桌子上有苹果。

You’ve also learned how to express purpose with more than one verb,the first verb or verbal phrase usually is “come, go or return”, and the second one is indicative of purpose. For example:王小宝来中国学汉语。And now you know how to use the structure “是……的shì ……de” to emphasize something such as time, location or manner. We can say: 我们是在Future learn认识的。

This week, we also gave a brief introduction to China’s national treasure panda,showed you some famous scenic spots in China, such as the Great Wall,the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Bund and West Lake. Besides, you’ve had a general understanding of Chinese Student Dormitories.
