A Consensus Review of Vancomycin

Vancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic. It is one of the most widely used antibiotics in the United States for the treatment of serious gram-positive infections.

Please read the article. The consensus review evaluates the scientific data and controversies associated with serum vancomycin monitoring and provides recommendations based on the available evidence.

In Table 2, “Summary of Expert Panel Recommendations for Vancomycin Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM)”, there are several level III recommendations. Please choose one and search at PubMed.
