Vancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic. It is one of the most widely used antibiotics in the United States for the treatment of serious gram-positive infections.

Please read the article. The consensus review evaluates the scientific data and controversies associated with serum vancomycin monitoring and provides recommendations based on the available evidence.
