Skip to 0 minutes and 7 secondsWelcome to Week 3 everybody. Now that you are familiar with issues around the learning environment, the learner and their learning needs, it's time to put the last piece of this jigsaw into place and tackle how you should be planning and delivering teaching. So this week, we will introduce you briefly to key educational theory relevant to your role as an educator. We will then take a look at the essentials of lesson planning, so that you can set yourself up well for your teaching sessions. This will then lead us into common teaching methods where we will discuss the pros and cons of each method and work out how you can make sure you get it right every time.

Skip to 0 minutes and 49 secondsBy the end of this week, we will have covered each key ingredient that goes into the recipe for a successful teaching session. So, do make sure your educator toolbox has all the implements you need to produce a successful outcome for yourself as an educator. But more importantly, for all your learners. Enjoy!
