What next?

We hope you’ve enjoyed Week 1 and our introduction to low pressure systems.

You explored the difference between weather and climate, and you looked at depressions and what sustains these particular weather systems. You were also introduced to the impact the Coriolis Force has on the movement of parcels of air, across the surface of the Earth.

We showed you some practical demonstrations, which we hope you had a chance to take part in yourself. And finally, we invited you to take part in predicting the weather yourself. Find out next week how you do.

Let us know how you got on this week in the comments below, and join us next week to take a closer look at where the weather comes from and explore the answer to the key meteorology question: Why does it rain?
