In this video Professor Tony McEnery speaks with the late Adam Kilgarriff about Corpus Linguistics. Adam was a pleasure to know and such was his commitment to his scholarship that he happily agreed to do this ‘in conversation’ in spite of being gravely ill. Adam’s passion for his subject shines through in this conversation. For me, as well as being a thoroughly interesting contribution, the video also stands as testament to his intellectual commitment, his vitality and the friendship that I, and many others, shared with him over the years.
