Members of the COVID-19 Case Management MOOC Taskforce

A special thank you to the members of the COVID-19 Case Management MOOC Taskforce who made this MOOC possible. The Taskforce is comprised of international agencies that work together on initiatives to promote the protection and care of children around the world.

Particular thanks goes to the co-chairs of the Taskforce, Mia Dambach of International Social Service and Clifford Speck of UNHCR.

Other contributors

There have been many people around the world who have supported the development of this course – too numerous to mention individually – to whom we send our grateful thanks. In particular we would like to thank all those children who helped us understand what is important to them and especially, those children who gave up their time to allow us to film their contribution.

In addition, we would like to offer a special thanks to colleagues who provided us with videos of promising practice, including:

  • Sara Mabgar, Child Protection Coordinator, International Rescue Committee, Lebanon
  • Sofia Baccichetto, Senior Child Protection Assistant, UNHCR Ecuador
  • Sophie Etzold, Child Protection Officer, UNHCR Uganda
  • Richard Munyaneza, Psychologist, Hope and Homes for Children, Rwanda.

Course Donors

Appreciation goes to the Government of Switzerland and UNHCR for providing funding for the development of the course.

We would also like to thank UNHCR for allowing us to use many of the photographs you saw throughout the course. Thanks also go to other members of the Taskforce who provided reference materials.
