This tool can stimulate people to generate or modify other people’s ideas and create more diverse ones
The group leader reads a problem statement to a group of five to seven people.
Each group member silently writes down four ideas about the problem on a sheet of paper, places the sheet in the center of the table, and exchanges it for another member’s sheet.
Using the ideas of the other members for stimulation, members list additional ideas. This process is repeated for about 20 to 30 minutes (although four ideas need not be written down each time).
