Skip to 0 minutes and 7 secondsIn the previous step, we saw a lot of examples of eye-catching creative work. What makes some people's work more creative than others? Are some people born with creative talent, while others are not? Let's watch this short story and discuss these questions based on it.

Skip to 0 minutes and 26 secondsHey guys, good morning. As we all know, next week, we're throwing a party for our seniors to celebrate their graduation. And we want to give them a big surprise, so we have to come up with great party themes. Do you already have anything? We can do some exploration, and prepare some colourful powder, making everyone a different color. That sounds really good. Do you have anything? Yes! How about we have a THANK YOU party? People wearing a rose. isn't that a great idea?

Skip to 1 minute and 6 secondsor people coming in biting a rose?

Skip to 1 minute and 11 secondsOK, fine. I know maybe I'm not good at coming up with great party ideas.

Skip to 1 minute and 22 secondsBut, we could just do this, maybe? Yeah, why not?

Skip to 1 minute and 28 secondsYou like my idea? Yeah but... Or maybe we can... I know, I would love...

Skip to 1 minute and 39 secondsIn the story, we see one person's opinions were rejected because they were thought to be not creative enough. So, he loses confidence and may be less willing to participate in brainstorming thereafter. Have you had a similar experience? Have you been in situations that make you feel that you are 'not one of the creative people?' Or are you a naturally creative person, who can think up ideas or designs where others may struggle? Do you think your talent is just in your nature, or has it been created out of practice and nurturing? What in your life has nurtured your creativity? What is the source of creativity? Is creativity in born or is it made?

Skip to 2 minutes and 23 secondsIf it is in born, how is the performance of "creative people" different from "normal people?" If it is made, what factors help affect people to become creative? We invite you to share your opinions your personal experience, and to argue why you think creativity is in born or made. Post your thoughts in the comment box below and feel free to comment on the opinions of others as well.

Source of creativity - a few questions

In this step, we go through the source of creativity. How do you think? Is creativity born or made? We invite you to join the discussion with each other.
