A quick recap of Joe’s story so far

A recap on where our case study on the criminal process is up to.

In our learning last week we followed Joe from the point of his arrest.

You’ll recall he was interviewed by the police and charged with an offence of causing grievous bodily harm with intent under section 18 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861. The Crown Prosecution Service took the decision then took the decision that he should be prosecuted for this offence.

And, so, we go to trial
