Different perspectives

You have now read about four different cyber attacks that have happened in UK local government in recent years. Hopefully this has given you a chance to consider some of the situations you may face as a manager in the digital security risk arena.

However, digital risk and cyber crime is not limited to local government. The following reports are from the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms and international forums. Each highlights the risk to the business of cyber and digital crime.

As an example, EY highlights that 6.4 billion fake emails are sent every day – a huge number for us to manage.
