He does not wear dentures, nor does he appear to be in any pain when he is eating. When Peter is eating he wears his glasses and he is able to use a knife and fork. Peter used to have a well established routine, however the nursing home routines are considerably different. We know that Peter used to enjoy silence in the morning, but now breakfast is accompanied by staff chatting and the television is on. Peter drank filter coffee, but only instant coffee is offered in the nursing home.
