Skip to 0 minutes and 11 seconds Welcome to week 2. This week we’ll examine cultural intelligence drive or motivation. CQ drive is your level of interest, motivation, and degree of confidence to adapt to diversity. Do you have motivation to improve the way you relate to and work with people who are culturally different from you? To what degree do you manage your frustration and emotions when you encounter diversity? CQ drive includes intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, plus self efficacy or self confidence. Our learning outcome this week is for you to recall and engage in your own interest, drive, and confidence to accept and adapt when faced with multicultural situations and diverse people. Please be sure to join in making comments and sharing in discussions.

Skip to 1 minute and 3 seconds Please be sure to mark the steps you complete as completed. Thank you for joining me this week in learning about and discussing CQ drive.

Welcome this week

This week we examine CQ drive or motivation.

One learning outcome this week is for you to evaluate the degree of internal energy you demonstrate to interact with diversity. You also consider the external benefits you receive from intercultural efforts. Finally, you will monitor your self-confidence when faced with differences.

Please watch the video by Chuck Calahan, the Lead Educator, as he introduces our learning for this week.
