Skip to 0 minutes and 22 secondsMARK GRIFFITHS: The three of us along with a host of expert youth coaches will take you through the content each week. The central aim of the course is to work with you in developing a better understanding of creativity in terms of developing both creative players and creative coaches. But we want to stress that coaching is not a "one size fits all" activity. The practises that work in one club won't necessarily work in another. Coaching is always specific to the situation in front of the coach. So in delivering ideas, practises, and activities in this course, we want you to be mindful in thinking how they might work or not work in your situation and in your club.
Skip to 0 minutes and 59 secondsTo do this, we will help you consider the development needs of your players, your role in coaching creative behaviour, and discuss how different practises may encourage creativity within the context of your club. So week one, we'll focus on what is meant by creativity in football and the role of the coach in promoting creativity. Week two, we'll focus on designing practises for creativity. And week three, we'll focus on the creative environment. The course is designed to be interactive and collaborative. And you will learn with other coaches in the course alongside ourselves.
