The headline is what appears right under your name before your personal profile and is another important feature that can help you to stand out. Do your best to use it as a ‘hook’ to capture the attention of the recruiters. It should be short and memorable and it should also highlight the key points you would like the employers to see.
Think about what you want to emphasise. Is it your current position? Your skills and competencies? Your ambitions and goals? Or you want to highlight how your skills can benefit the recruiter? You might consider using keywords, as they will make you more searchable. Also, be creative if it’s appropriate.
