One of the main sections you need to include when writing your CV is your educational background. You should consider carefully the positioning of this section so you showcase it in the best possible way.
If it’s not your major selling point, you might want to consider placing it further down the page, so the focus is on something else, for example your work experience or skills. However, recruiters will want to know a bit about your level of education, so here are some ideas on what you might include:
- School, college and university-based qualifications
- Work-based qualifications
- Trade qualifications
- Private study
- Overseas study
- Other qualifications
These should be organised in a chronological structure starting with the most recent qualifications first.
