Productive confrontation

Confrontation does not always need to be negative or unproductive. Sometimes confronting a simplistic stereotype or negative behavior may cause persons to see another perspective. Productive confrontation may lead to another person learning something new that changes their behavior.

Research suggests confrontation can be a powerful tool for curbing bias and creating understanding between groups. Can you think of other examples of confrontable behaviors? Please share your other examples in the comments and join the discussions of other learners.
