So, if you're expecting a deep dive into technical details, I'm gonna disappoint you early, this is not the course for you. On the other hand, if you want to explore how organizations big and small, public and private, and pretty much everything inbetween, have practically invested in data to get business results, then you're in the right place. I also believe that learning should be fun, so remember to have a bit of fun on the way. Let's gets started.
The business world is awash with buzzwords where many are to do with AI, ‘going digital’ and the use of data. It can seem overwhelming at times as we navigate through the noise to find out what is important and what is just a rebranding of last year’s ideas. In the process of either being enthralled or intimidated by these trends, we can often lose sight of the fundamental questions:
“How do I drive business value from this?”
“Where do I start… without spending too much money?”.
The correct use of data can be differentiators for your business, but if your investments are not integral to the execution of your strategy, it is unlikely that you will be successful, instead you will stumble from one false start to the next.
But don’t worry, this course will take you beyond the hype as we explore case studies that demonstrate how the better use of data can drive value for your organisation.
