Dialogue 1
| Hoi Marianne! Wat doe je? | Hi Marianne! What are you doing? |
| Ik kook. Ik maak het eten. | I’m cooking. I’m making dinner. |
| Ja, dat zie ik. Wat maak je? | Yes, I can see that. What are you making? |
| Ik maak stamppot. Echt Nederlands. | I’m making stamppot. Really Dutch. |
| Kun jij Nederlands eten maken? | Can you make Dutch food? |
| Ja hoor. Dat is niet zo moeilijk. Stamppot is heel gemakkelijk. | Yes, sure. It’s not too difficult! Stamppot is very easy. |
| O ja, stamppot. Met wortels en uien en aardappelen? | Oh yes, stamppot. With carrots and onions and potatoes? |
