Courses at Kingston University and St George’s, University of London

Formed in 1996, the Faculty of Health, Social Care & Education is a joint enterprise between two leading universities, Kingston University & St. George’s, University of London.

Studying with us at Kingston and St George’s offers access to the very best from two different but complementary organisations, including excellent teaching over a range of seven subject areas.

The faculty currently embraces over 7,000 students and operates over three sites in south-west London. We focus on delivering excellent health, social care and education professionals as well as preparing today’s practitioners for future challenges through our workforce development courses.

We work in close partnership with education commissioners currently including, Health Education South London (HESL), the “National College for Teaching and Leadership (NTCL)” and the United Kingdom Government’s Department for Education.

We also work with employers such as the National Health Service (NHS), local authorities and the Ambulance Service as well as independent and voluntary health and social care agencies.

We are a leading provider of workforce development education and training courses for practising teachers, social workers and healthcare professionals and a preferred provider of education and training for our Local Education and Training Board, as well as the NHS.

Our courses are informed by evidence-based practice and we place a strong focus on real-world learning. We bring professionals from different backgrounds together to share ideas and develop new ways to improve services. We have a proven track record of providing outstanding support to students.

You can find out more about the faculty at our website, along with a full list of our workforce development courses. In addition, Kingston University offers a full range of courses.
