Until very recently economic globalisation had a largely taken for granted quality about it. It was widely assumed that economic globalisation and the forces that sustained it were inevitable.

Today, however, economic globalisation appears to face unprecedented danger from a rising tide of protectionism. This course speculates about future trajectories for economic globalisation and the implications for the global business environment.
