What frameworks exist where you are?
An article asking the learners to analyse a response to an incident of their choosing (local or national) and compare that with the UK and US response

You have now looked in some detail at the UK and US emergency preparedness frameworks and should have a good understanding of how they are intended to operate.
You should also have gained insight into the different style and approaches taken to respond to similar events, reflecting the different social and political frameworks.
Your task
Investigate the response to an incident or emergency you are familiar with and share your findings in the comments. You should include:
- A link to a news report about the incident;
- A summary of the response, including details about which framework was used; and
- An evaluation of how effective the response was.
If you’re outside the UK or US, you may wish to consider describing your local framework.
