The theory of change

Change is a long-term project. In this video, Georg von Schnurbein explains how to define and use a theory of change.

The concept of the theory of change is closely linked to the logic framework we already discussed.

The basic idea is to describe on a normative level a logical approach to solve a social problem. Later, this normative assumption should be supported by evidence from measurement models. But a theory of change is not just a cause-effect-model of input, output, outcome, and impact.
