What do teachers need to know about grammar? Verb forms

The other thing teachers need to know about grammar is verb forms (sometimes called tenses), including how they are constructed and what they can be used for. Let’s have a look at a few verb forms.

Look at the table below. You’ll see there is a verb form (or tense), a meaning/use of the verb form, and an example sentence. The words in the example sentences are jumbled. Put them in the correct order. You can click on the image to enlarge it.
