Video review of Week 1

Genevieve White (Genny), lead educator on the course, looks back at some of the main talking points of this week in a short video.

Genny enjoyed reading your comments about places she’s never been to and would really like to visit. She mentions Sergi Diago’s description of his beautiful city.

On the question “What does English feel like?” she refers to Melanie Wolfcarius’s hot potato, Karil Sidy’s pen and Vladimir’s potato idiom’s. Watch the video and it will all be explained!

Brexit is a political ‘hot potato’ at the moment. Genevieve notes that it was interesting to read your views on this controversial issue on step 1.4.

She enjoyed reading your ideas on how you feel about English and mentions comments from Daria, Jorge and Andrey.

Genny and other educators tried to answer as many of your questions as possible in the Facebook live event on Thursday. Thanks to everyone who took part - we hope you found it helpful.
