Skip to 0 minutes and 6 seconds I was with Unilever for 20 years, and had that wonderful period when they spent a great deal of time, and effort, and money on their stars. And one was one of the large numbers of stars. It didn’t mean I was going to get to the top but it meant I was part of that coterie. And I was transferred to the United States, given a very nice apartment in Manhattan. And I spent a couple of years wandering around, and doing pretty much what I wanted, choosing my own projects. And then beginning to run some companies for them. And I suddenly reached a point where I thought, hmm, it’s time I did something for myself.

Skip to 0 minutes and 45 seconds And I then formed a subsequent series of technology conferences. And what we were teaching people who were analogue people, who didn’t understand the digital world, is how it’s changing, how we can help you. And then my consultancy company would, of course, go back to those people and say, look, if you need guidance and help to do these things, we’ll do it for you. So, it blossomed from that. I think I am retired. That doesn’t mean that I don’t do a fair amount of work, largely for friends. And I don’t charge for these anymore. I’m interested in the world in which I live.

Skip to 1 minute and 26 seconds I’m interested in dealing with the complaint that I’ve been diagnosed as having, in surviving as best I can. I take a positive view in life. Catherine and I travel, we go to Crete very frequently. We were there for a month in the summer. And we enjoy being at home as well. We enjoy seeing friends.
