Take the first steps in joining a global network of nutrition educators

Prove what you know and be eligible to apply to join a global membership network for healthcare professionals and organisations by completing Food as Medicine Final Assessment Course (NNedPro) by Monash University.

Who is the course for?

Monash has designed the course specifically for doctors and other healthcare professionals who are wanting to apply for membership of the International Academy of Nutrition Educators (IANE), and who have completed a minimum of two courses from the Using Food as Medicine in Healthcare Practice program (just like this one) and the Food as Medicine course.

What topics will you cover and what will you do?

This course does not present new content on food as medicine. Rather, this is a final assessment course.

Within the Food as Medicine Final Assessment Course (NNedPro) course you will demonstrate how you communicate nutrition and health information to patients by applying the knowledge you learnt in the Food as Medicine courses by producing video responses for two case studies (two videos in total) from each Food as Medicine course you have completed.

Join a global membership network for healthcare professionals and organisations

Completion of ‘Food as Medicine’ courses from Monash enables doctors and healthcare professionals to apply for membership of the International Academy of Nutrition Educators (IANE) - a membership only open to qualified health professionals.

IANE membership enables access to a global network of medical nutrition experts and knowledge symposia, bespoke support and mentorship to implement nutrition into practice, and opportunities to participate in public health nutrition advocacy initiatives through NNEdPro’s partnership with governmental and non-governmental organisations.
