Skip to 0 minutes and 4 secondsLet's talk about money. Here are some Frisian terms and phrases. "It jild" The money. "Wat kostet dat?" How much is that? "Twa euro." Two euros. "Tritich sinten." Thirty cents.

Skip to 0 minutes and 25 secondsTaken them together we say: "twa euro tritich" or simply "twa tritich". Notice that you don't need to say "euro" and "sinten". You can just pause between the euro and the cents. "Twa tritich" "fiif fjirtich". Note that euros are not in the plural form in an amount. So we say, "fyftich euro" 50 euros. The word for cents, "sinten", however,
