Please try out the peer-review exercise at https://acj.haskellmooc.co.uk/?tid=ad8e - this is a two-stage optional exercise, to help you practise reading and writing Haskell code.
Stage 1: Check out the exercise description and type in or paste your source code submission then click Save. Complete this stage before 12 Oct 2017 at 23:59 UTC+1. You should be able to re-submit as many times as you like before the deadline. The most recent submission is the one that counts.
Stage 2: On 13 Oct, the activity switches to peer review mode. You will be shown two other learners’s submissions, and you have to select which one you think is ‘more elegant’. You can do this many times, for many different learners. Eventually, we will build up a crowd-sourced ranking of the code submissions based on elegance. Please complete stage 2 by 23:59 UTC+1 on 19 Oct.
Note - we ask you to authenticate with OpenID so we can link your submission with your login, to facilitate peer review. We do not store your login details or your email address. You are identified by an SHA1 hash of your Microsoft, Google or Facebook identifier, so we won’t be able to tell who has submitted.
