The three levels of technology

A simple definition of technology would be a systematic application of organized knowledge applied to resources to produce goods or services.

Three levels of technologies should be considered:

1) Physical technology - which is the actual device being used.
2) The skills required to use the technology - without them you would not be able to use the technology.
3) The organisations surrounding the technology itself - the technology would not run without them.

Without these three levels, the technology would not be useful, because they all work together as a system.
