Consider a future of dual-use technologies and a combined-effect scenario

The course draws ideas from previous courses, examining the mid and long-term future of global society in relation to RSET. The themes will examine utopian vs dystopian futures, the emergence of risks associated with megacities, urban infrastructure and the growing necessity for digital and physical aspects of resilience and security.

It will explore the need for effective governance and ethics, especially with regard to future technology and civil and political uncertainty, and look at coherent strategies and cooperation in the advent of persistent problems.
