If you are interested in seeing the handouts from the conference speakers, then view the RootsTech 2019 app which you can do on your computer. At this site you can browse a list of classes by topic, day or skill level. Within the details of each class, you can see in the ‘Resources’ section if there is a handout provided. You can then download this onto your computer.

Wednesday

RootsTech began today and I had a full day of setting up our table in the expo hall, talking to people I see once a year at this event and going to a few classes. I really enjoyed a talk by Rebecca Koford on US Voter Registration records, a source which I’ve toyed with in the past but she really gave some good tips on how to find more. My colleague Alasdair went to ‘Online Scandinavian Records’ by Jenny Hansen and said it was a good overview of the topic and that he learned quite a bit!

I’m struggling to get my photos to upload here correctly but will come back and try again tomorrow to do that…apologies!
