Overview in-depth topics

In the first part of this course you have learned what we define as Geohealth and you have studied the components that together make up a GIS system within the health domain. You have focused on Spatial data, Software, Mapping, Analysis and People.

In the rest of this course you will be able to study a number of in depth topics. All topics are independent study blocks although some topics can be grouped together. There are for example two topics on machine learning, two topics on health facility accessibility and planning and two topics on spatial statistics.

Most topics explain research that has previously been published in scientific articles. The reference to these articles is included in the topic text. If you wish to learn more we invite you to download the articles and study them further.
