Summary

This week, we reflected on the optimal governance mechanisms to address the complex international challenges we are facing.

In particular, we asked ourselves the following questions: can we blend different types of instruments, solutions and actors? Does blending work?

At the end of this online course, we come to the conclusion that there is no straightforward answer to the dilemma between permissive or restrictive blending practices, and that global governance offers room for both, as long as skillful actors seize opportunities when they arise.

I thank you for your involvement and exchanges throughout this online course.
