What are sites of exemplification?

We approach prosperity from a global perspective. We undertake long-term research to find out what works, and what the challenges of attaining sustainable, equitable global prosperity might be.

We do this by exploring the nature of, and obstacles to prosperity in different places, which we call our ‘Sites of exemplification’. We hope that the tools we develop can help build a new vision of prosperity, which enables people to flourish sustainably.

The IGP currently has three sites of exemplification: East London, Northern Kenya, and Lebanon. These sites provide excellent opportunities for comparative, trans-disciplinary research aligned to local needs and stakeholders. Each site has its own context, and its own particular challenges to prosperity.
